Green Waste

Residents are encouraged to separate out green waste and place them in the residential green carts.  Single-family residential customers who occasionally have excess green waste may schedule a bulky pick-up.

Christmas Tree Recycling

CR&R provides Christmas tree collection services for a two-week period after the holiday season.  Palm fronds are not recyclable and must be placed in the trash cart.  Follow these guidelines for curbside collection of Christmas trees:

  • Remove all ornaments, tinsel, lights, and stands.
  • Place tree in the green waste cart or beside your carts for collection. Do not place trees in plastic bags.
  • Trees six feet or taller must be cut in half.

Bulky Item Pick Up

Items that cannot fit in your automated carts are considered bulky items.  Each residential customer is entitled to two free bulky item pick-ups per calendar year.  Additional pick-ups may be arranged at a nominal charge.  If you are a new resident, contact CR&R to collect all paper, cardboard, and packing materials free of charge. This will count as both of your free bulky item pickups.
