    Children's activities include: Crafts, games, face painting, scavenger hunt activity, entertainment, "Touch a Truck". The Easter Bunny will also be hopping around! Bring your own camera for pictures. Note: There Will NOT be an egg hunt at this event. Food available for purchase. All activities may be canceled if it rains on event day.   4. Parent / Teen Workshop: Stop Worrying So Much!

    April 9, 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM @ View Room

    Interfamily communication is challenging. Finding effective and healthy ways to talk to one another is such a key component to strong family units. Preteens, teens and young adults go through a multitude of challenges throughout their adolescence. Peer approval, good grades, and finding a sense of identity are just some of the struggles associated with this growing time period. Discovering mutually beneficial ways to address adolescent issues can greatly improve parent/teen relationships. Get informed about not only the signs of depression or anxiety but also on how to address them. Registration is required. Call the Parks and Recreation Office at 425-5100 to reserve your spot.   6. MLB Pitch Hit & Run

    MLB Pitch, Hit and Run is an exciting baseball and softball skills competition that provides boys and girls, ages 7 to 14*, an opportunity to showcase their pitching, hitting and running abilities. Boys and girls will compete separately in four age groups: 7/8, 9/10, 11/12, 13/14. Top scorers in each age group advance to a Sectional Competition, with the possibility of competing in the Pitch, Hit and Run National Finals to take place during the 2015 ALL-STAR GAME. Register in the office located at the Crown Valley Park or at the Competition. *Age is determined as of July 17, 2015. COPY of valid Birth Certificate is required to participate.   7. Earth Day Celebration

    "Go Green" and volunteer to plant, weed and clean up the Niguel Botanical Preserve. Celebrate Earth Day by giving back your time to improve the landscaping n our 18-acre preserve.   8. Family Fun Night: Make Your Own Horn and Toot It!

    Who knew that making instruments could be so easy? Enjoy making and decorating a five-in-one instrument- The 'Drumpet'. These simple materials are appropriate for all ages and can usually be found lying around the house. The Drumpet includes a horn, bonker, drum, scraper, and even a string instrument! Participants will compose their own music with an easy box notation and perform. Class will end in a drum circle with the Drumpet. Seating is available on a first come, first served basis. No fee in celebration of the City's 25th Anniversary! See flyer link for details.

    All 6th-8th graders are invited to enjoy a variety of team and individual challenges; Minute to Win It games, bowling, Wii games, ping pong contests, and Limbo! Prizes will be awarded to those who win the challenges. DJ Steve will take requests for your favorite songs, so plan on bringing a friend to Friday Night Live! Snacks will be sold for $1.00 each. Participants must stay in the facility until the event is over. *In celebration of our 25 year city anniversary," this event is offered for FREE!

    Come to the Laguna Niguel Skate Park for Spring Break Skate Camp. Grouped by skill level, skaters will learn proper technique, improve skating skills, learn skating etiquette and have tons of fun as they experience the challenges of the Laguna Niguel Skate Park. Skate camp is also a great place to grow as a person by developing various life skills such as goal setting, teamwork, perseverance, problem solving, communication and more. Camp provides a place for kids to make new friends, improve their skating abilities, and build character to become well rounded individuals.
