The Laguna Niguel Citizen of the Year Committee is now accepting nominations for the 2016 Laguna Niguel Citizen of the Year Award. This prestigious award was established in 1990, as a joint project of Laguna Niguel service organizations, to recognize citizens who have demonstrated outstanding voluntary service to the community, making this a better place for us to live and work.
The nominee must live and perform service in Laguna Niguel. The service performed must be strictly voluntary, may not be part of a paid or elected position and may include acts of heroism, humanitarianism, charitable and/or other outstanding service. Volunteer work can be within the last year or over a span of several years.

Individuals and organizations throughout the community are encouraged to participate. From March 17 through April 19, 2017 nomination forms will be available at Laguna Niguel City Hall, Sea Country Senior and Community Center, Crown Valley Park and the Laguna Niguel Family YMCA.
