Project Description: 

This program is intended to address the City’s aging traffic signal infrastructure. There are 78 traffic signals maintained by the City. The existing equipment is generally over 30 years old and require routine replacements. Replacements may include signal communication, controllers, battery backups, and other components. Completion of this project supports City Council Goal 4 (Infrastructure and Technology) of the Strategic Plan Implementation Action Plan. 

Project Delivery Schedule: 

  • Award of Construction Contract: November 2023
  • Start Construction: March 2024
  • Construction Complete: June 2024
  • Current Phase: Construction Phase 
  • Current Status: Bidding is 5% complete
