Electric Vehicle Charging Stations

In our commitment to reducing greenhouse gas emissions, Public Works has installed eight Level 2 Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations throughout the City:

  • 2 dual-port stations at City Hall
  • 3 dual-port stations at the Crown Valley Community Center
  • 1 dual-port station at the Sea Country Senior and Community Center
  • 2 dual-port stations at the Laguna Niguel/Mission Viejo Metrolink station
Vehicle electrification reduces  greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.
Installation of EV charging stations supports Goal #4 (Infrastructure and Technology) of the City's Adopted Strategic Plan and is a Smart Cities Solution. The City continues to assess installation of additional EV stations at City facilities.

CHARGE UP WITH CLEAN ENERGY

Solar Power Portable EV Charging Stations

Residents also have the option to charge their electric vehicle using a solar-powered portable EV charging station located at:

          - The Sea Country Senior and Community Center and;

          - The Crown Valley Community Center near the YMCA

The solar-powered portable EV charging station uses clean energy to charge EVs, which helps reduce energy usage and greenhouse gas emissions.
