The Parks and Recreation Department offers a variety of special events throughout the year that provide volunteer opportunities for residents of all ages. The Department cannot accept court ordered volunteers.

Volunteer Qualifications

  • Must be at least 13 years old
  • Have a valid email address that is checked frequently
  • Be able to interact with staff, volunteers, members, and guests
  • The City of Laguna Niguel does not accept court-ordered volunteers


Becoming a Volunteer

  1. Sign up for a Current Volunteer Opportunity (see link below)
  2. Submit Liability Waiver to Recreation Supervisor
    1. Volunteer Liability Waiver Instructions
  3. If needed, Recreation Supervisor will contact you if LiveScan needs to be completed
