eTrakit Permitting, Inspection Requests, and Issue Reporting


If you want to report an issue to the City, apply for a permit, or need to schedule an inspection, the City's eTrakit system is designed to provide residents, businesses, and visitors the opportunity to access City Hall, 24-hours a day, 7 days a week, from the comfort of their own home or business. All you need to do is login and select Permits, Inspections, or Report Issue.  If you do not have a login, please register as a new user or sign in as a guest using the username: guest and password: guest123.  Once you are logged in, you will be able to provide a description, attach photos, and view the status of your issue by clicking on "Dashboard."  Generally, the City will respond to your inquiry in five business days. 

Mobile App

The City's mobile app is another efficient way to report an issue.  Download the City of Laguna Niguel app from the Google Play store or Apple Store.  Your contact information is required.  Once you are logged in, report the problem, select an issue and choose the location. Once a case has been assigned, you can view City response notes and have the ability to add additional information and photos.
