1. My neighbor’s dogs bark all the time, can the city assist?

The City of Laguna Niguel contracts with Mission Viejo Animal Services.  Dog barking complaints can be reported to (949) 470-3045.

2. What are the hours for construction noise?

7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday. No construction noise is permitted on Sundays or Federal Holidays.  Complaints can be submitted to code@cityoflagunaniguel.org

3. My neighbor is doing construction and I do not think they have a permit.

Please email the location of the construction to code@cityoflagunaniguel.org

4. My neighbor planted a tree that blocks my view.

The City of Laguna Niguel does not have a view protection ordinance.  Please consult with your HOA for possible CC&R protections.

5. My neighbor’s tree is leaning over my fence, can Code Compliance help?

This would be considered a private nuisance issue between the two parties that Code Compliance is unable able to assist with.
