Public Works and the Moulton Niguel Water District (MNWD) have planned and will soon install a new beautiful, water-saving demonstration garden at the Sea Country Community Center. The design work will replace the small lawn area with native plants.
Signage at the site, like the example below, will inform residents of native and drought-tolerant plants that they may plant in their yards.
The City of Laguna Niguel and MNWD hope to inspire residents to consider replacing grass turf lawns with a water-saving garden using native plants that will attract natural pollinators, such as bees and butterflies.
