Commissions & Committees

Citizen participation in local government plays an important and active role in the City of Laguna Niguel. In an effort to achieve this ideal, the Laguna Niguel City Council has established various Commissions and Committees to review City programs and projects, and help address community concerns. 
The primary role of City Commissions and Committees is to review and make recommendations to the City Council on matters within their scope of responsibility, and to promote increased public input and citizen participation in the determination of City policies and program implementation.

Planning Commission Recruitment

Extended Application Deadline: 
Friday, January 4, 2019, by 5:00 p.m. 
No late applications will be accepted.

Interviews will be conducted by the City Council on Tuesday, January 8, 2019, beginning at 4:00 p.m. All applicants must be available on that date. Applicants will be contacted with their interview time after the extended application deadline.
