Community Grants Program
Each fiscal year, the Laguna Niguel City Council provides grant funding for Community Services/Cultural Arts/Community Special Events programs. These funds are allocated by the City Council in recognition of the important role that the many human services organizations and cultural programs play within the community.
Grants are available to non-profit organizations that provide services in Laguna Niguel for Laguna Niguel residents and/or provide services for students attending schools that serve Laguna Niguel residents.
FY 2020-2021 Grants Program
The City is currently accepting grant applications for the Fiscal Year 2020-21 Community Services/Cultural Arts/Community Special Event grant program.
Organizations interested in applying must complete the grant application and provide their most recent Treasurer's Report or Financial Statement**. For a complete list of grant requirements, please view the City Grants and Sponsorships Policy.
The City does understand that grant funding requests may be different than in years past, given the COVID-19 pandemic and the unique circumstances that it has created for community organizations and the activities and programs they can provide.
To be considered for funding, grant applications must be received by mail to the following address or by email to Senior Management Analyst Dorna Farhadi at email@example.com by no later than Friday, August 28, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. Grant awards are expected to be announced at a City Council meeting in October 2020.
